1. The service

LIMINAL uses AI to turn a selfie and a short quiz into a stylized, fictional “entity” image, for entertainment purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

Upload only photos of yourself, or photos you have explicit permission to use. Do not: upload images of other people without consent; impersonate or create misleading depictions of real, identifiable individuals or public figures; upload illegal, hateful, or sexual content involving minors; or abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent the app’s limits or security.

5. Credits, subscriptions & billing

Your first generation is free. Additional generations require credits or a Pro subscription, sold through our Merchant of Record, Polar, which handles billing, taxes, and receipts. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Polar’s policy and EU consumer law.

6. Content & intellectual property

You keep rights to the selfie you upload and grant us a limited licence to process it solely to generate your image. The generated images are yours for personal and social use. You confirm you have the rights to any image you upload.

7. AI disclaimer

Generated images are produced algorithmically and may be unexpected, inaccurate, or imperfect. They are fictional and for entertainment; we make no guarantees about specific results.

8. Availability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under Polish or EU law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
